The other day I had a chance to do a live stream with Pastor Tyler. We discussed ways to be a witness during the pandemic. We listed 6 ways to reach out to people. They are listed below:
1. Share positive things with your neighbors. Don't complain...rather let the light of Christ shine.
2. Meet people's needs. Give food, drink, write a letter...it is almost like people are in jail. Meet their needs. *note...not saying to break social distancing recommendations.
3. Video chat.
4. Share live church services...start a watch party.
5. Pray for your unsaved and saved friends.
6. Love…it is all about love. God loves you. God loves me. We need to share that love in every way that we can.
Eventually this pandemic will end. While it is going on it can sometimes be easier to do some of the things above. When it ends it might get more difficult to talk to your friends and neighbors about Christ. I would encourage you to not let that happen. Ask God to light a fire in your heart...a passion for the souls of your fellow humans. May neither the fear of a disease or the complacency of life as usual keep your heart from aching for the lost.
Most Gracious Father, You are worthy. You are worthy to be shared continuously to a lost and dying world. Give us a heart that burns brightly with the desire to share the good news.
In Jesus name I pray,
Amen
