Love Each Other

This week we watched a video that was kind of...well...twisted.  The characters think they are loving their friend but it certainly doesn't seem that way!  Check it out here.
It is funny but it is also kind of sad.  I think too often we get stuck in that judgmental and hypocritical "love" that drives people away from the savior.  Our job isn't to put our friends on a guilt trip.  Our job is to love them and show them the way of mercy.  God loves us so much that he sent his son to die for us.  We should love others...regardless of the baggage that they bring to the cross.  With Jesus help they can learn to lay down the things that would drag them down.
Jimmy Cocoa Pops advice is to treat everyone like they are the most important person in the world.  Go out of your way to reflect God's awesome love to those around you.  In that way, God will draw people to himself.  Constantly ask yourself...am I showing God's love to everyone?
Heavenly Father, thank you for your love!  Please help us to share that love with those we come in contact with.  You are awesome, wonderful, beautiful, and good.  Help us to show that to a lost and dying world!  In Jesus name, amen.
