I am excited. We are planning a talent show for a senior home here in town and I can't wait to see what the students are going to do! God has blessed us with so many different and unique talents. This is readily on display here in our youth group.
It is of utmost importance to remember that God is the giver of talents. That doesn't mean we can't improve a skill through practice (like Guitar...ahem...Miss K!) but it does mean that since God has given us talents we should be eager to use those talents to honor Him! Each week as I sit down to write I hope that the words I say are an honor to God, and using this talent to honor Him is great! Frosted double-frosted flakes great!
As you go through your day and week, I hope that you take time to thank God for the talents He has given you. He obviously thinks the world of you for making such a unique and wonderfully gifted person!
Heavenly Father, thank you for the gifts of talents that You have given us. Please help us to honor You in all that we do. We love You, and thank You for loving us!
