Hi, and thanks for stopping by our blog. Last week in youth group we talked about Jesus turning water into wine. We looked at three main points, which were:
1. Jesus did not come to Earth to kill your fun.
2. Jesus cares about the little things in your life.
3. Jesus came to replace religion with relationship.
What are some of the fun things that you do in life? Do you like to play video games? Are sports important to you? Do you like singing and dancing? Are you an airsoft addict? Do you like to make your own videos and put them on youtube? Whatever you have a passion for God can use. God made you and gave you skills. The question you need to answer is how can God use this thing I like to do to honor Him?
That can be tough, and sometimes you might have to think outside the box. If you enjoy video games, can you invite an unsaved friend over to play with games with you? Maybe you will have a chance to witness to them. Maybe they will bring others over to and you will start to have a gamers bible study. You see, God is able to use your talents and passions to accomplish His purpose. His purpose is always to share His love with a world that desperately needs Him.
Heavenly Father, I pray that You will use the talents that we have to meet Your purposes. May our hearts be dedicated to Your service. Thank You so much for loving us! Amen
